Flights to Australia from September for International students

After months of airport lockdowns, there is finally some good news for the international students planning to study in Australia.

In the coming days of September, around 300 international students from China, Hong Kong and Japan will be flown into Adelaide to kickstart the education sector. The students will have to stay in a 14-day hotel quarantine in their own expenses before they can attend their universities.

Simon Birmingham, Australia’s Trade Minister explicitly mentioned that no tax payers dollars will be used in terms of supporting students flying into Australia or quarantining as is required.

Currently, there are no other confirmed flights to bring students from other countries such as India Nepal and so on. However, the first flight is set to press the other states to also allow international students to come in.
