Queensland releases requirements for nominating applicants for new 491 Visa

Queensland released their requirements for nominating applicants for the new Subclass 491 Visa:

• Must be aged less than 45;
• Must have Competent English;
• Must show access to funds;
• Must have an occupation on the appropriate Queensland Skilled Occupation List under “Working in QLD”
• Must have a positive skills assessment in that occupation
• Must have been living in Regional Queensland for at least 3 months and working in their nominated occupation in Regional Queensland for at least 3 months. Regional Queensland includes the whole state except Brisbane and it includes the Gold Coast!
• Must have a Job Offer for ongoing employment with a Queensland Regional employer for a further 12 months on a full time basis.
